William Lane

William was born on May 10th, 1794. William's father was William Lane and his mother was Mary Dow. His paternal grandparents are Deacon William Lane and Rachel Ward; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Dow and Mary Batchelder. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, Samuel, Joshua, John, Meshech, Joel and Mary. He was the youngest of the eight children.
