William Lane

William was born on November 10th, 1777. William's father was William Lane and his mother was Mary Dow. His paternal grandparents are Deacon William Lane and Rachel Ward; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Dow and Mary Batchelder. He had six brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Joshua, John, Meshech, Joel, William and Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 15 on March 17th, 1793.
