Joel Lane

Joel was born on September 5th, 1791. Joel's father was William Lane and his mother was Mary Dow. His paternal grandparents are Deacon William Lane and Rachel Ward; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Dow and Mary Batchelder. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, Samuel, Joshua, John, Meshech, William and Mary. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
