Samuel Dow Lane

Samuel was born on October 20th, 1779. Samuel's father was William Lane and his mother was Mary Dow. His paternal grandparents are Deacon William Lane and Rachel Ward; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Dow and Mary Batchelder. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, Joshua, John, Meshech, Joel, William and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eight children.

- Samuel eventually settled in Exeter, New Hampshire.
