Vendel Körtvélyesi

Vendel was born in 1811.  Vendel's father was Mihály Körtvélyesi and his mother was Mária Barbély.  His paternal grandparents were János Körtvélyesi and Zsuzsanna Varga. He had five brothers and a sister, named Pál, Mihály, János, Ágnes, Mihály and Eszter.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 45 on March 9th, 1856.
