János Körtvélyesi

János was born on June 3rd, 1813 in Halászi.¹

János' father was Mihály Körtvélyesi and his mother was Mária Barbély.  His paternal grandparents were János Körtvélyesi and Zsuzsanna Varga. He had five brothers and a sister, named Pál, Vendel, Mihály, Ágnes, Mihály and Eszter.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 63 on February 2nd, 1877 in Halászi.²
