József Mihály Körtvélyesi

József was born in September 1844 in Szabadka and his baptism took place there on September 5th, 1844.¹   József's father was Imre Körtvélyesy and his mother was Julianna Padzser.  His paternal grandparents were Antal Körtvélyesi and Katalin Varga. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named István, Imre, István, József, Lukács, József, József, Rozália, Julianna and Rozália.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died at 11 months old on August 24th, 1845 in Szabadka.²
