József Körtvélyesi

József's father was György Körtvélyesi and his mother was Anna Oláh.  His paternal grandparents were Imre Körtvélyesi and Teréz Tóbiás. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Pál, Julianna, István, Kálmán, Lajos, István, Erzsébet and Anna.  He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named Gábor.  He died on March 29th, 1882 in Ada.¹
