Kálmán Körtvélyesi

Kálmán was born on October 12th, 1890 in Ada.¹   Kálmán's father was György Körtvélyesi and his mother was Anna Oláh.  His paternal grandparents were Imre Körtvélyesi and Teréz Tóbiás. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Pál, József, Julianna, István, Lajos, István, Erzsébet and Anna.  He was the third youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named Gábor.
