Thomas was born on February 23rd, 1725 in Stone, Staffordshire, UK.  Thomas' father was Thomas BOX and his mother is Anna PADMORE.  His paternal grandfather was John BOX and his paternal grandmother is Jane DOD. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Gulielmus, George, Maria, Ann, Jane and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 75 in 1800.
