Ann was born on February 2nd, 1737 in Oulton, Staffordshire, UK.  Ann's father was Thomas BOX and her mother is Anna PADMORE.  Her paternal grandfather was John BOX and her paternal grandmother is Jane DOD. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Gulielmus, George, Maria, Jane and Elizabeth.  She is the seventh oldest of the nine children.
