George was born on April 9th, 1735 in Oulton, Staffordshire, UK.  George's father was Thomas BOX and his mother is Anna PADMORE.  His paternal grandfather was John BOX and his paternal grandmother is Jane DOD. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Gulielmus, Maria, Ann, Jane and Elizabeth.  He was the sixth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 56 on July 23rd, 1791 in Stone, Staffordshire, UK.
