John was born on January 6th, 1650 in Stone, Staffordshire, UK.  John's father was John BOX and his mother is Edith (UNKNOWN). He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, George, Thomas, Thomas, Johanes, Anna and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 89 in 1739.
