Mary Whitford

Mary was born on December 22nd, 1735 in Exeter, Washington, Rhode Island, USA.¹ Mary's father was John Whitford and her mother is Martha Tefft. Her paternal grandparents were Pasco Whitford and Mary Stafford; her maternal grandfather was James Tefft and her maternal grandmother is Martha Sheffield. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, John, Amos, Sarah, Lydia, Elizabeth, Mercy and Martha. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 26 on September 26th, 1762.¹
