Amos Whitford

Amos was born on July 25th, 1743 in Exeter, Washington, Rhode Island, USA.¹ Amos' father was John Whitford and his mother is Martha Tefft. His paternal grandparents were Pasco Whitford and Mary Stafford; his maternal grandfather was James Tefft and his maternal grandmother is Martha Sheffield. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, John, Sarah, Lydia, Elizabeth, Mary, Mercy and Martha. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 91 on April 1st, 1835 in Exeter, Washington, Rhode Island, USA.¹
