Joseph Cathcart

Joseph was born on January 21st, 1739 in Tisbury, Massachusetts, USA.¹ Joseph's father was Gershom Cathcart and his mother was Mary Athearn. His paternal grandparents were Robert Gershom Cathcart and Phebe Coleman. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Jonathan, Hugh, Gershom, Parnell, Abigail, Nancy, Ann and Martha. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Benjamin, Robert, Phebe, Love and Huldah. He died at the age of 18 on April 18th, 1757 in Tisbury, Massachusetts, USA.¹
