Gershom Cathcart

Gershom was born in 1746 in USA.¹ Gershom's father was Gershom Cathcart and his mother was Mary Athearn. His paternal grandparents were Robert Gershom Cathcart and Phebe Coleman. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, Jonathan, Hugh, Parnell, Abigail, Nancy, Ann and Martha. He was the seventh oldest of the ten children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Benjamin, Robert, Phebe, Love and Huldah. He died at the age of 78 on June 8th, 1824 in Tisbury, Dukes, Massachusetts, USA.¹
