Kenneth was born in 1885 in Tweed River.1  Kenneth's father was William McLeod and his mother was Hannah McLennan.  His paternal grandparents were John McLeod and Christina McDonald; his maternal grandparents were Farquhar McLennan and Janet McKenzie. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Farquhar, John, Alexander, James, William, Christina, Christina and Kitty.  He was the youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 78 in 1963 in Brisbane, Queensland.2

‌Kenneth and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on September 27th, 1911 in Ipswich by minister Norman W Beaney and witnessed by William O. Williams jr, Catherine Ellen Williams.3   They had two daughters named Hilda and Alma.
