Capt. Richard D'Oyly 
Richard's father was Sir John D'Oyly (1st Baronet Chislehampton) and his mother was Margaret Cholmeley. His paternal grandparents were John D'Oyly and Mary Shirley; his maternal grandparents were Col. Richard Cholmeley (of Grosmont) and Margaret Paulett. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Cholmley, Robert, Thomas, John, Elizabeth and Mary. He died in 1704.General Notes

Richard D'Oyly, a Captain of Marines, who served in Spain under the Hon. Col. Alexander Lutterel, temp. Queen Anne, and was slain scaling the walls of Gibraltar, July 1704, unmarried. His father renouncing, letters of administration to his effects were granted by the Prerogative Court of Canterbury to his brother Thomas, April 1706..
