  I. Robert D'Oyly, baptized and buried at Hambleden in 1632.

  III Mary D'Oyly, baptized 14 January 1634, at Stadhampton. She married John Norton, Esq.,355 was living in 1677 and 1691, and had by him several daughters, and a son named
  1. D'Oyly Norton, living 1677.
  
  V. Katharine D'Oyly, baptized at Stadhampton, March 1637. She resided at Chislehampton, and died unmarried in 1677—8, having made her will January, 29 Car. II, This document consists chiefly of bequests of jewellery, and small pecuniary legacies to her sisters, nephews, and nieces. The testatrix appoints her brother, Sir John D'Oyly, Bart, executor, and leaves her copy of "Spenser's Faery Queen" to his wife. The will was proved April 1678, in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
  
  VI. Jane D'Oyly, who died young, and was buried at Stadhampton November 1638.
  
  VII. Charity D'Oyly, baptized at Stadhampton November 1639. She married — Sanders355 of Whitley, but was dead in 1691.
  
  VIII. Anne D'Oyly, baptized January 1642, at Stadhampton; dead, s.p. in 1677.
  
  IX. Jane D'Oyly,[356] married at Southrope, co. Gloucester, 24th August 1665, from the residence of her uncle, C. D'Oyly, of Southrope, to John Saunders, Gent. Either she or her sister Charity was mother of
  1. Thomas Saunders, mentioned as nephew in the wills of his aunts 1677 and 1691. He was born at his father's house, Alverscot, co. Oxon., in 1668; and marrying Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Sir Edward Chaloner, Knight, of Guisborough, co, York (grand-daughter maternally of Sir R. Ingoldsby, of Waldridge, co. Bucks), removed into Yorkshire, and settled at Coatbank, in Grosmont, where he died March 1695, in his twenty-eighth year, and was buried at Egton in Cleveland, having had four sons.[357] His grandson, D'Oyly Saunders, died in 1773, and was buried at Egton. Another of his descendants, also named D'Oyly Saunders, died in more recent times, and was buried at Easingwold, co. York.[358]
