John Ramsbottom

John was born in 1794 in Whitefield and his baptism took place on January 19th, 1794 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Prestwich).¹

Birth Notes

John's father was Thomas Ramsbottom and his mother was Margaret Mather. His maternal grandparents were William Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Ingram. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James, Robert, Thomas, Richard, James, Mary, Jane, Betty and Ann.
