Isaac Mather

Isaac was born in December 1830 in Adlington and his christening took place on December 19th, 1830 at St. Katherine (B'rod).¹

Birth Notes

Isaac's father was Thomas Mather and his mother was Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. His paternal grandparents were Edward (Nedde) Mather and Mary Hough. He had four brothers and four sisters, named George, James, Nathan, Thomas, Esther, Peggy, Lucy and Ellen. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, Edward, Thomas, William, Mary, Alice, Ellen and Catherine. He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Mining Accident (fell off roof) 3 Nov, at the age of 54 on December 1st, 1884 in Anderton.²
