Catherine Mather

Catherine's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Alice Calderbank. Her paternal grandparents were Edward (Nedde) Mather and Mary Hough. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Edward, Thomas, William, Mary, Alice and Ellen. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named George, James, Isaac, Nathan, Thomas, Esther, Peggy, Lucy and Ellen.
