William Lewis

William was born in January 1904 in St. Helens.¹

William's father was Thomas Lewis and his mother was Alice Emma Taylor. His paternal grandparents were William Lewis and Catherine Whalley. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Edward, Alice, Edna, Eunice and Jessie. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died in January 1904 in Prescot.¹
