John and Margaret are common DNA ancestors and my 5x great-grandparents..
26 Dec 1749, John Miilington married Margaret Youd at Shotton, Cheshire.
All their children were baptised at Hawarden. John was born in 1750, about a month after they married (mother is not named on these early records).
In 1755 and 1757, Thomas and Mary were born and baptised at Hawarden, daughters of John and Margaret. Then from 1760 to 1768, four daughters Margaret, Rachel, Elizabeth and Ann were all baptised with mother recorded as Margaret and also of abode Shotton.
John died and Margaret was widowed. There is a 1778 burial at Chester Holy Trinity for John Millington (no age or abode given). If living at Shotwich (Cheshire), then this would ne a local church (4.5 miles) on the West side of Chester.
6 Oct 1779 Margaret Millington (50, widow) of Hawarden married Thomas Adams (59, widowed, husbandman) of Little Sanghall, Shotwick, Chester.
