Thomas Lewis

Thomas was born on August 28th, 1872 in Rainford.¹

Thomas' father was William Lewis and his mother was Catherine Whalley. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Lewis and Elizabeth Williams; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Whalley and Alice Heyes. He had two brothers named Joseph and William. He was the youngest of the three children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Roger and Mary. He died at the age of 69 on May 2nd, 1942 in Rainford. His burial was in May 1942 in Rainford.²

  In 1913, Another Thomas and Alice Emma Lewis (born London) imigrated to Toronto, Canada. The 1921 Canada census shows Thomas and Alice (48 & 47) with Wilfred T (22), Evelyn (18), Leslie (17), Edith (14) and Edna (80). The children dont match up! That Alice Emma Charlton Lewis died in Vancouver in 1967.
