Jerome was born on December 30th, 1905 in Missouri.  Jerome's father was August A Gripka and his mother was Martha Bruenn.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Gripka and Mary Daus; his maternal grandparents were August Bruenn and Regina. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joseph, Sisbert, Lawrence, Agnes, Frances, Rose, Fridoline, Dorothy, Clara and Ruth.  He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 91 on May 16th, 1997.





Jerome's family

Jerome and Ruth were married in a religious ceremony on September 10th, 1946.  They had four sons and three daughters, named Louis, Ralph, Paul, Steven, Janice, Dolores and Patricia.
