Agnes was born on May 28th, 1896 in Missouri.  Agnes' father was August A Gripka and her mother was Martha Bruenn.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Gripka and Mary Daus; her maternal grandparents were August Bruenn and Regina. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Joseph, Jerome, Sisbert, Lawrence, Frances, Rose, Fridoline, Dorothy, Clara and Ruth.  She was the oldest of the twelve children.  She died due to a medical problem at the age of 23 on January 16th, 1920.
