Maria Theresia Witkam

Maria Theresia was born on January 21st, 1831 in 's Heer Arendskerke.¹

Maria Theresia's father was Johannes Janse (?) Witkam and her mother was Elisabeth Marinusse Wes(t)dorp.  Her paternal grandparents were Johannes-Jan Witkam and Ariaantje Marinise Vermeulen/Vermuele; her maternal grandparents were Marinus V Wes(t)dorp and Lucia Adriaanse Raas. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Martinus, Hubrecht, Willem, Adriaan, Johannis, Adrianes, Adriana, Jannetje/Joanna and Flora Lucia.  She was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 85 on May 25th, 1916 in Grand Rapids.  She was buried on May 30th, 1916.
