Hubrecht Witkam 
Hubrecht was born on September 1st, 1825 in 's Heer Arendskerke. Hubrecht's father was Johannes Janse (?) Witkam and his mother was Elisabeth Marinusse Wes(t)dorp. His paternal grandparents were Johannes-Jan Witkam and Ariaantje Marinise Vermeulen/Vermuele; his maternal grandparents were Marinus V Wes(t)dorp and Lucia Adriaanse Raas. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Martinus, Willem, Adriaan, Johannis, Adrianes, Adriana, Jannetje/Joanna, Maria Theresia and Flora Lucia. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 69 on June 11th, 1895 in Goes.-
