Flora Lucia was born on March 7th, 1833 in 's Heer Arendskerke.1  Flora Lucia's father was Johannes Janse (?) Witkam and her mother was Elisabeth Marinusse Wes(t)dorp.  Her paternal grandparents were Johannes-Jan Witkam and Ariaantje Marinise Vermeulen/Vermuele; her maternal grandparents were Marinus V Wes(t)dorp and Lucia Adriaanse Raas. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Martinus, Hubrecht, Willem, Adriaan, Johannis, Adrianes, Adriana, Jannetje/Joanna and Maria Theresia.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  She died as an infant at 3 months old on June 15th, 1833 in 's Heer Arendskerke.2
