Teuntje de Vries

Teuntje was born in 1779 and her baptism took place on September 22nd, 1779 in Dordrecht.  Teuntje's father was Gerrit Jacobsz de Vries and her mother was IJda/Yda/Ida van der Schalie.  Her maternal grandparents were Cornelis Corneliszn van der Schalie/Schally and Aeltje of Alida Cornelis van der Borcht of Burg of Borg. She had six brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Cornelis, Teunis, Gerrit, Willem, Gijsbert and Alida.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
