Trijntje was born in 1830 in Heiloo.  Trijntje's father was Pieter Appelboom and her mother was Jannetje Arends Koning. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Dirk, Arie, Pieter, Jacobus, Marijtje and Pietertje.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 6 on April 8th, 1836 in Heiloo.1
