Ms Jean Spence

Jean was born in 1787 in St Vigeans, Angus, Scotland and her baptism took place there on October 6th, 1787.

Jean's father was Mr Adam Spence and her mother was Mrs Janet Mudie. Her maternal grandparents were Mr William Mudie and Mrs Margaret Mann. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, George, Adam, Alexander, Elizabeth, Margaret, Helen and Marinea. She was the second youngest of the ten children.
