Mr Alexander Spence

Alexander was born on June 20th, 1790 in Arbroath, Angus, Scotland and his baptism took place there on June 28th, 1790.

Alexander's father was Mr Adam Spence and his mother was Mrs Janet Mudie. His maternal grandparents were Mr William Mudie and Mrs Margaret Mann. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, George, Adam, Elizabeth, Margaret, Helen, Marinea and Jean. He was the youngest of the ten children.
