Mary was born in 1816 in Legbourne, Lincolnshire, England and her baptism took place there on January 1st, 1817.  Mary's father was Mr James Kirk and her mother was Mrs Mary Parker?. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Thomas, Robert, James, Charles, Nathanael, Elizabeth and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 1 on January 23rd, 1817 in Legbourne, Lincolnshire, England.
