Mary was born on November 4th, 1631 in St. James Palace,London,England.  Mary's father was Charles_I Stuart and her mother was Henrietta Maria of_France.  Her paternal grandparents were James_I Stuart and Anne of_Denmark; her maternal grandparents were Henry_IV the_Great and Marie de'_Medici.  She was the third of nine children.  She had four brothers and four sisters, named Charles James, Charles_II, James_II, Henry of_Gloucester, Elizabeth, Anne, Catherine and Henrietta Anne.  She died at the age of 29 on December 24th, 1660 in Whitehall Palace,,England.
