Charles_I was born on November 19th, 1600 in Dunfermline,Scotland.  Charles_I's father was James_I Stuart and his mother was Anne of_Denmark.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Stuart and Mary Stuart; his maternal grandparents were Frederick_II of_Denmark and_Norway and Sophia of_Mecklenburg- Gustrow.  He was the fourth of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry Frederick, Robert, Son, Elizabeth, Margaret, Mary and Sophia.  He died at the age of 48 on January 30th, 1649 in Whitehall Palace,,England.  His burial was in St. George's,Chapel,Windsor,England.
