Robert was born on January 18th, 1602 in Dunfermline.  Robert's father was James_I Stuart and his mother was Anne of_Denmark.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Stuart and Mary Stuart; his maternal grandparents were Frederick_II of_Denmark and_Norway and Sophia of_Mecklenburg- Gustrow.  He was the fifth of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Henry Frederick, Charles_I, Son, Elizabeth, Margaret, Mary and Sophia.  He died at 4 months old on May 27th, 1602 in Dunfermline.
