Anne was born on November 2nd, 1709 in Herrenhausen.  Anne's father was George_II Hanover and her mother was Caroline of_Ansbach.  Her paternal grandparents were George_I Hanover and Sophia Dorothea of_Celle; her maternal grandfather was John Frederick of_Brandenburg-.  She was the second of nine children.  She had four brothers and four sisters, named Frederick Louis, Son, George William, William Augustus of_Cumberland, Amelia Sophia Eleanor, Caroline Elizabeth, Mary and Louisa.  She died at the age of 49 on January 12th, 1759 in The Hague.
