Christopher was born in July 1963.  Christopher's father was Robert (Bobby) Francis Kennedy and his mother is Ethel S Skakel.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Elizabeth Fitzgerald.  He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Bobby Jr., David, Michael, Max, Douglas, Kathleen, Mary, Mary and Rory.  He is the eighth oldest of the eleven children.

Christopher and Sheila were married on August 15th, 1987 in Winnekta, Illinois.  They have a son and three daughters, named Christopher, Katherine, Sarah and Clare.
