George was born on August 22nd, 1869.  George's father was George Washington Glover and his mother was Nancy Umbel.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Glover and Sarah  Street (Glover). He had two brothers and five sisters, named Taylor, Reuben, Selena, Melissa, Rhoda, Savilla and Minerva.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, William, Anabella and Mary.  He died at the age of 29 on May 14th, 1899.
