Clarence was born in 1926.  Clarence's father was John  (Bill) William Gaspar and his mother is Veronica (Fron) Hardes.  His paternal grandparents were Lampert Gaspard and Julia Meyer; his maternal grandparents are Anton Hardes and Sophia.  He had a brother and four sisters, named Vincent, Irene, Cecilia, Loretta and Dorothy.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, choked on a peanut, at the age of 2 in 1928.
