William Christopher Kitto

William Christopher was born in March 1873 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland and his baptism took place there on March 2nd, 1873. William Christopher's father was William Andrew Kitto and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Tembey. His paternal grandparents are James Kitto and Alice Williams; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Tembey and Sarah Thomas. He had three brothers and five sisters, named James Henry, Joseph Samuel, Thomas, Eliza, Elizabeth Jane, Sarah Ann, Eliza and Louie. He is the fourth oldest of the nine children.
