Sarah Ann Kitto

Sarah Ann was born in June 1875 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland. Sarah Ann's father was William Andrew Kitto and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Tembey. Her paternal grandparents are James Kitto and Alice Williams; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Tembey and Sarah Thomas. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James Henry, William Christopher, Joseph Samuel, Thomas, Eliza, Elizabeth Jane, Eliza and Louie. She is the fifth oldest of the nine children.
