Helen was born on February 29th, 1928. Helen's father was Orville (Buck) Miller and her mother was Emma Amelia Busser (Miller). Her paternal grandparents were Loren (Brick) B Miller and Ida Codney (Miller); her maternal grandparents were John Busser and Elizabeth Smith (Busser). She had four brothers and five sisters, named Spud, Orville, Robert, John, Frances, Freda, Dorothy, Betty and Sally. She is the fifth oldest of the ten children.
