Mary Ann Downs

Mary Ann was born in 1854 in Bloxwich, Staffordshire, England. Mary Ann's father is William Pope Downs and her mother was Ruth Groom. Her maternal grandfather was Thomas Groom and her maternal grandmother is Mary Preece. She has three brothers and four sisters, named William, James, John, Sarah Jane, Hariett, Rosanna and Edith. She is the oldest of the eight children.
