Edith Downs

Edith was born in 1874 in Goscote, Staffordshire, England. Edith's father is William Pope Downs and her mother was Ruth Groom. Her maternal grandfather was Thomas Groom and her maternal grandmother is Mary Preece. She has three brothers and four sisters, named William, James, John, Mary Ann, Sarah Jane, Hariett and Rosanna. She is the youngest of the eight children.
