Johann Daniel Lauff

Johann Daniel was born on July 3rd, 1743 in Enkirch and his baptism took place there on July 7th, 1743.  Johann Daniel's father was Johann "Peter" Lauff and his mother was Maria Elisabetha Creutzer.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Georg Lauff and Agnes Catharina Fuchs. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Johann Christian, Carl Friedrich Daniel, Georg Burckhard, Johann Philipp, Frantz Daniel, Dorothea Elisabetha, Anna Elisabeth and Maria Elisabetha.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
