He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas John, Peter William, Edward, John Robert, Michael Henry, Ellen M., Catherine A. and Mary Jane. He had two half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Michael, John, Elizabeth, Johanna, Bridget, Catherine, Margaret, Mary and Ellen. He died at the age of 87 on January 12th, 1966 in Charles City, Floyd, Iowa. He was buried on January 14th, 1966 in Calvery Cemetery, Floyd, Iowa.General Notes
